Erin A. Cook, J.D., LL.M
Certified Specialist in Estate Planning
Erin A. Cook is the owner of Estate Planning of SC, LLC and is certified as a Specialist in Estate Planning and Probate Law by the SC Supreme Court. Prior to starting her own firm in 2008, Erin spent 7 years as an associate with two highly respected firms in Columbia, South Carolina. Her practice concentrates on both taxable and nontaxable estate planning; probate and trust administration; and prenuptial agreements.
Erin received her B.A. in English from Winthrop University, her J.D. from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in 2000, and her Masters of Laws in Taxation from the University of Florida in 2001.
Erin is a member of the following professional organizations: The South Carolina Bar Association, Columbia Estate Planning Council, and Columbia Tax Study Group. She is also a frequent lecturer on tax, estate planning, and probate and trust administration issues.
